Dinesh D’Souza, director of the blockbuster documentary film “2016: Obama’s America,” delivered an electrifying presentation at the Nixon Library, arguing that President Obama’s ultimate ambition is the decline of America.
He had the enthusiastic crowd roaring right out of the gates.
“I am really thrilled to be here at the Nixon Library,” he said as he took the stage. “I hope that in a few days we will be announcing the inaugural committee for the Obama Presidential Library,” a statement met with thunderous applause from the audience.
The East Room crowd of more than 700 and thousands of online viewers watching live on YouTube were eager to hear the sought after conservative thinker speak just days before the upcoming election – an election in which D’Souza’s controversial film has been a game-changer.
“We are a few days away from a very important election,” said D’Souza. “It’s an election ultimately about which dream will prevail in America – the American dream or Obama’s dream?”
D’Souza explained the decision making process behind Obama’s agenda – including his Middle East policy; the dramatic increase of the national debt; and his worldview.
“The October surprise has been the confidence of Romney!” D’Souza said of the Republican challenger. “We have an opportunity in just a few more days to take stock of the whole situation,” he added.
D’Souza’s film, “2016: Obama’s America,” is the highest grossing documentary of the year and the second highest grossing political documentary of all time.
Following the lecture, Dinesh greeted visitors, posed for photos, and signed copies of his New York Times bestselling book Obama’s America: Unmaking the American Dream.
