Marshall Bouldin III, 1923-2012

Marshall Bouldin, dubbed the painter of politicians, died in Memphis, Tennessee last week. He was 89.

Among his many prominent Washington subjects included Tricia and Julie Nixon, whose portrait was commissioned during the 1968 campaign and given as a gift to First Lady Pat Nixon by Women For Nixon.
