July 2013: Members of Native American tribes from all over the country congregated in Taos, New Mexico, where they celebrated Richard Nixon’s 100th birthday, and paid tribute to the 37th President for granting them self-determination after two centuries of mistreatment and destructive policies. The President’s younger brother, Ed Nixon, accepted the recognition on behalf of the Nixon family and Foundation.
