I’ve heard from many of you during this challenging Covid experience, and you’ve asked me for the best way to help the Nixon Library and Foundation weather this storm.
The Library was closed to the public for over six months this year — and we may be forced to close again. Nearly all of our revenue-generating programs were canceled. Put simply, we need your support to help make up lost revenue.

Though 2020 has tested our resolve, President Nixon’s Foundation shifted gears in early March. The Nixon Foundation hosted more than 25 blood drives, partnered with faith-based organizations to host multiple food drives, and donated over 700,000 face masks to small businesses, EMS workers and schools!
And we supported California’s —and America’s— students in distance learning at home, by introducing all-new virtual tours of the historic Nixon birthplace and boyhood home, as well as the Pat Nixon Gardens, in addition to other virtual programs.
Though our Library may have been closed and may close again, we never stopped working to fulfill our organization’s mission, and we can’t afford to lose any more time.
That’s why I’m excited to announce that, this #GivingTuesday, your gift will be matched and DOUBLE in impact, keeping history alive through our robust education programs.
