Last night Bret Baier spoke with Nixon Foundation President Hugh Hewitt in the East Room at the Nixon Library. They discussed Baier’s #1 bestseller, “To Rescue the Republic: Ulysses S. Grant, the Fragile Union, and the Crisis of 1876.” Over 400 people attended to learn more about President Grant and the legacy he left behind.
Earlier in the day, Bret filmed his show, “Special Report with Bret Baier,” live from the Nixon Library Gardens and paid his respects to Colin Powell, who was a White House Fellow in 1972 under President Nixon.
