Vivek Ramaswamy, a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, participated in the Richard Nixon Foundation’s 2024 Presidential Policy Perspectives series at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library on Thursday evening.
The Nixon Library’s East Room was at full capacity of nearly 900 people as Mr. Ramaswamy laid out his comprehensive foreign policy vision, which he said includes a revival of Nixonian realism.
The presidential candidate opened his speech with the reflection that “He [Richard Nixon] continues to reveal a lot of commonalities that I aspire to in a man that deserves to be remembered for what he actually did to our foreign policy.”
Invitations have been issued to every declared candidate for the presidency to visit the Nixon Library and deliver remarks on any topic, in any format.
