The Nixon Library is the place to be on President’s Day!
Nearly 2000 people came from across Southern California to celebrate U.S. Presidents at the Nixon Library. Guests received half-off admission all day, and a free slice of Cherry Pie courtesy of Polly’s Pies. A few of our most-admired presidents greeted guests throughout the day, including George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt. FDR and First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt also posed with excited guests.
The event was widely covered on television and radio stations across the region, resulting in a line of eager guests that extended from the admissions desk to the Marine One helicopter.
