Discussion: AI is more than self-driving cars. It is an amalgamation of computer programs that can replace the most educated professionals from radiologists, to patent lawyers, to finance administrators. AI makes obsolete the professional and corporate functions that are rules-based. This will change college degrees in finance, law, and medicine, for example, which were thought “reliable” to produce well paying and secure careers.
How will the rise of AI affect today’s college graduates, curriculum, and public policy?
