A Sweet Celebration at the Nixon Library
Kick-off the holidays with this festive, family-friendly celebration on Monday November 28th, 2022 from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm!
Make sweet memories this holiday season at the Nixon Library with a gingerbread-themed tribute to the Nixon family’s White House traditions. As part of the dazzling displays of Christmas decorations at the Nixon Library, guests are invited to vote on their favorite gingerbread houses!
The Celebration includes:
-Usher in the Holiday Season at the annual Nixon Library Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
-Enjoy the Sounds of Christmas concert by the Huntington Beach Concert Band at 7:00 pm
-Take photos with Santa Claus in the Argyros Oval Office
-Enjoy festive photo opportunities with a larger-than-life-sized gingerbread man
-Create your own whimsical gingerbread man ornament
-Build your own Hot Cocoa Creation and enjoy a cup of Polly’s Pies delicious backburner soup
-Learn about the Nixon family’s Christmas traditions with biographer Paul Carter
-Sing along with carolers from Orange High School and Fairgrove Academy
-Explore the presidential museum galleries after-dark
