Within days of closing the Nixon Library to the public due to COVID-19 in March 2020, the White House East Room, known for its once-active programming and frequent events, became a center for much-needed blood donations.
Since then, the Foundation has hosted over 40 blood drives, resulting in over 1,700 usable units of blood and potentially 5,100 lives saved.
The Richard Nixon Foundation intends to continue these popular and meaningful blood drives as long as the shortage continues.
This blood drive is presented in partnership with the American Red Cross.
The blood drive will take place Monday, November 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
