The National Civics Bee® is an annual competition that encourages young Americans to engage in civics and contribute to their communities.
Participating 6th, 7th and 8th grade students flex their civics knowledge for a chance to win recognition and cash prizes. Students respond to a 3-question essay prompt proposing ideas to improve their communities. Essays are due February 4, 2025.
In partnership with the Yorba Linda Chamber, the first annual National Civics Bee® Regional Competition in California is taking place on March 12th, 2025! The subsequent California State Competition will occur at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. This year, state champs will travel to Washington, D.C. to compete for the national title!
