Wreath-Laying Ceremony Honoring President Nixon’s Birthday

Celebrate the legacy of the 37th President of the United States at a special wreath-laying ceremony commemorating President Richard Nixon’s birthday. This solemn event will feature a presentation of a presidential wreath at his gravesite, honoring his enduring contributions to our nation.

Presidential Wreath Presentation: Pay tribute with a wreath sent on behalf of the President of the United States.

Reflections on President Nixon’s Legacy: Hear moving remarks from distinguished guests, sharing stories and insights about President Nixon’s life and leadership.

Featured speakers are Rear Admiral Robert Nowakowski, Deputy Commander, Naval Education and Training Command – Force Development and Fred Mendoza, Member of President Nixon’s Cabinet Committee on Spanish-Speaking People

Formal Presentation of the Colors by the U.S. Marines

Musical Performance by Navy Band Southwest: Enjoy stirring musical tributes performed by one of the U.S. Navy’s premier bands.

All are welcome to attend this free public event. Join the Nixon Foundation to remember President Nixon’s achievements and reflect on his contributions to American history.

Admission to the Nixon Library is free all day.
