U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West Independence Day Concert

The Commanders Jazz Ensemble celebrates America’s musical heritage through performing the rich sounds of big band jazz. Comprised of 20 full-time professional Airmen-musicians, The Commanders is one of 10 ensembles that make up the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West and performs concerts and presents music clinics throughout the western United States.
As part of the Band of the Golden West, The Commanders’ mission is to harness musical excellence to honor our nation and those who have served, inspire patriotism and resilience in our Airmen, Guardians, and nations’ citizens, and connect the Air Force with the American public and community partners. The excellence demonstrated by The Commanders reflects the excellence displayed by all Airmen stationed worldwide, whose selfless service and sacrifices ensure the freedoms enjoyed by citizens of the United States of America.
Registration for this event does not include admission to the Nixon Library galleries.
